Silhouette

When Nick and I were in Amherst in July, Nick's dad showed us a silhouette of himself when he was a child. It was really quite cute and I new I would have to try and make one. Thanks to the internets, I found some woman's crafty blog with step by step instructions, which I did not follow, but she helped me get the gist and the inspiration for the background. My first victim was Cecil. I used a photograph that Nick had taken of him for a piece he had written for the Chronicle. I taped a copy of that picture to a piece of black paper and cut out his silhouette. I then glued the black paper to some fancy paper and slapped it in a frame. I also made one of Emmett, but he could not yet hold up his head so I had to take a picture of him lying down. This resulted in me making up the silhouette of his head and he looks a little funny, but I gotta try right?
